Come outside and dance your wiggles out! We’ll sing songs, dance, and read fun stories. All ages welcome, best for children ages 18 months to 5 years.
This program will be held in the Fairmount Children’s Garden weather-permitting. In the case of inclement weather, we’ll move to the Story Room.
Davenport Public Library is excited to announce that Library in the Park will be resuming again this summer!! Join us Wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm at Fejervary Learning Center (1800 W 12th St.) to enjoy storytime at 10am, activities, checking out materials, placing holds, getting a library card and so much more! A special thank you goes out to the Davenport Parks and Recreation Department and Community and Economic Development for such a wonderful partnership!

July's book: "Emma" by Jane Austen. Brown Bag Book Club meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 1pm at the Davenport Public Library's Eastern branch. Brown Bag Book Club is a traditional, casual-atmosphere discussion group that takes place during a late-lunch hour. Books are recently published adult fiction and nonfiction titles, as well as the occasional classic or backlist novel. This program is best suited to adults. Check out a copy of our current read at the Eastern Branch. Copies are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The FRIENDS operate used bookstores at each Davenport Public Library location and fund 100% of The Library's programming.
