"I never imagined I could have my dream job at 28. I approached economic development staff to receive guidance on making my business come to life. Every single person I came into contact with at City was so incredibly helpful, even when my idea was extremely new to the Quad Cities. They believed in me from day one and I knew that Davenport was the most perfect place to launch my first shop. I would not have been able to launch this business without the help from the City and their Small Business Loan Program."

"We decided to open The Vault in downtown Davenport it was because we were aware of the trajectory of growth in that area. We were able to get a small business loan from the City, which helped relieve some of risk of starting up. We have felt very supported by the downtown business community."
