(August 7, 2026) The Davenport Fire Department is asking for feedback from the public to guide development of its strategic plan for the next five years. The public is invited to complete a brief survey to give input on how the Davenport Fire Department can best serve the community in the years ahead.
The survey is part of the department’s strategic planning process for 2027-2032. The questions ask for feedback on emergency response, fire prevention, and community education programs. Survey responses will be used to identify priorities, evaluate current services, and inform future planning efforts. Participation is voluntary, and responses will remain anonymous. The survey should only take about 8-10 minutes to complete.
“Community input is essential as we plan for the future,” said Chief Jeff VanderWiere. “This survey gives residents an opportunity to share their perspectives and help ensure the Davenport Fire Department continues to provide the highest level of service to our community.”
The survey is open through August 21 and can be completed online at this link.
