The Davenport Commercial DREAM Project is now accepting applications! The application period is open from Wednesday, July 1, 2026 through Monday, August 31, 2026.

Eligible Improvements

Improvements must be made to correct items that are rundown, blighted, broken, or similar in nature. Examples includes:

  • Window and door replacement
  • Siding, painting, and brick work
  • Awning and lighting attached to the building
  • Deteriorated roofs that are visible from the street or sidewalk

Eligible Area

Projects include commercial, industrial, and mixed-use buildings that are located in the Rockingham Road Corridor. Click here to view a map of the eligible area.

 

Previous Commercial DREAM Projects

The City of Davenport invested $900,000 in seven local businesses through the Commercial DREAM Project. Transformations have been happening, enhancing the exterior of each commercial property through the repair and rehabilitation of the exterior. Examples of previous Commercial DREAM projects include:
