(September 18, 2026) Alderman Tim Dunn, representing Davenport’s second ward, submitted his resignation to Mayor Jason Gordon, effective immediately.

“Since Tim Dunn was elected in November 2024, he’s strongly advocated for people in the second ward, and he represented them well," said Mayor Jason Gordon. He ran and served because he believes in the City of Davenport and wanted to be part of the solution to the community’s concerns. I know my colleagues will miss him, and I will miss him too."

More information on the next steps to fill the vacancy will be provided as it becomes available.
